itunes not opening auto

Your Mac's Specs
Macbook 2.4 GHz Intel, 2 GB, 240 GB/16G ipod nano
itunes no longer opens automatically when i plug in my ipod touch
any suggestions?

Have you looked in Itunes>Pref.>Devices tab and is disable automatic syncing checked

yea it is checked but because i have another ipod that i use with the same library it always did open by itself despite that but recently has failed to open most of the time
