Your Mac's Specs
MBP 2.3 Ghz 4GB RAM 860 GB SSD, iMac 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 32GB RAM, Fusion Drive 1TB
The MBA doesn't have a superdrive, so you are going to have to get an external CD/DVD drive to install software, and watch movies. Also MBA only can hold 2GB of RAM can't upgrade to 4GB.

Those are the two things that put me off the MBA.

Get the White MB - it's got more storage space, a faster processor, an optical drive and more expansion possibilities.

You should ask yourself.
They are both good in there own way.

Write down their specifications and decide what you need.

Unless you just need it to be tiny, the Macbook is the way to go. The only time I've ever really wished I had a Macbook Air was riding coach on long plane rides where the depth of the mb/mbp is a little too much.

Don't get the Macbook Air, get the one that's useful for running lots of programs and installing stuff from disks.

Slim and sexy is not everything, especially if it is considerably less usable.
