oddiofile sound

any thoughts on whether one should upgrade to any special sound card arrangement to get really hi quality music. i am not a gamer or dvd watcher or surround sounder. i just want the best, cleanest most faithful sound for MUSIC.

The iMacDV does not use a sound card; the sound chips are built into the main board and are not replaceable. You can get an improvement in sound quality by using a USB sound device like Griffin's iMic or Powermate.
