DVD not supported

inserted a training dvd, (non Apple product) in my Macbook, message comes up "not supported". It's played everything else fine, what gives? Thanks for the help.

What format is this Training DVD? If it's a DVD that has to have Windows to run it's probably not going to work. I am thinking a DVD with an Autorun that is a Windows application.

Can you tell us a bit more about this DVD?

i'd agree. can you browse the dvd in finder?

i would guess you'll see a few folders with movies in them, maybe some training docs in doc or pdf, and an autorun file.

if you can broswe to the media files, you may be able to play them direclty in quicktime or VLC.
