I successfully ran Boot Camp and installed Windows XP on my iMac. I followed the Boot Camp instructions that I printed out from the iMac.

Running Windows, my iMac doesn't appear to see USB connected devices. I have a 7-place hub, and I'm connecting my GPS unit to it to download updates that can only be installed with Windows.

A window pops up asking me to load the CD that came with the device, or allow it to search the Windows Update site for the correct driver, but it can't find one. I've tried having my Mac OS cd inserted, my Windows installation CD inserted, and neither inserted. Nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?

If it's asking for the driver the the hub is working fine.

You need to download the driver from the manufacture of your GPS device.

Then, when Windows asks for the driver, point it to where you saved it.

It may be that the driver is a self-install, in which case Windows will recognise the device after you install the driver.
