Downloads from apple web site

I was looking through all the downloads available on their site. Are there any that some more experienced mac users would recommend?

Recommend for what? Need to know what you need in an app in order to make recommendations. One persons favorite app, the next person could have no use for.

I will be doing work with photos,videos and slideshows for the most part. I am a real estate agent. I will also be using keynote for listing presentations, and pages to create flyers and brochures.I was also thinking about burning videos of houses onto cd's as a leave behind for people to take when they look at one of my listings.

You basically have every thing you need on your computer if it came with the iLife suite.

iLife has incredible software for that. A cool touch would be adding a dvd menu in iDVD. There are all kinds of online overviews but IMO the best way to do it is by messing around.
