Language Compatibility?

Hey

I'm trying to convince my parents to purchase a mac mini, but their main concern is being able to use their writing tablet. They use it to dictate chinese characters onto word files, I was wondering if OSX can automatically detect the USB plug of the writing tablet and setup for chinese characters?

In short, if anyone here uses a writing tablet for a different language please let me know what you're using and how you set it up! Thanks

Kind of depends on the hardware I would think. Your best bet would be to check out the website of the company that makes the tablet. If it's a Wacom product, it appears that they have drivers for all of their tablets for OSX.
