Ok so I had this problem where if I put something in the SITES folder I could see it when I went to http://myip/~myusername but my dell and other computers couldn't see it, it would instead say there was a DNS error.
Then when me or any other computer went to http://myip/ it would show the 'You have succesfully installed Apache' page.
I realized that page was coming from:
macintosh HD/Library/WebServer/Documents
So I made a backup of everything in that folder and replaced it with a page that I made named index.html and it worked but the page has to be named index.html or it won't work.
I recommend making a backup of the stuff in that folder like I did.
If you have any other solutions to this problem PLEASE POST THEM!!!!!
