Microsoft Office 2008? (You didn't say.)

Which update did you download? The latest update for Office 2008 is 12.1.5.

Regards.

Did you use Monolingual? If you did, you can not install any Office 2008 updates. Microsoft has a notice on their web site specifically about that. Monolingual removes languages and that gives Microsoft Office 2008 heartburn. Why? How should I know? Maybe because it's the same wonderful folks who brought us Windows! :Angry-Tongue:

Anyway, here's the solution: You must completely remove Microsoft Office 2008 including all its folders and the activation serial. After it's all gone, re-install. That will take away its heartburn and allow you to install the updates.

Same thing happened to me. O:)

Regards.
