Creating an MP3 disc from itunes purchased files

Hello and Merry Christmas to all. I have been trying without success for an hour to burn a CD to play all of my holiday music for a party tonight. I have a whole playlist of music (75 songs) that I have purchased from iTunes and wish to burn them to a CD in Mp3 format. I have a player that can play MP3's, but not the newer mpegs that iTunes puts out.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

This way would take longer, but it's early and I can't think of any other way right now.

Convert all the files to MP3 then burn it using a disc ultility as MP3 data files.

Sorry I never got back to post a thank you. This worked out for me and we had music all night.
