You mean a pop up in Safari?
Click on Safari and see if you checked "Block Pop-Up Windows". If it isn't, check it. If it is checked and you are still getting the pop-up, download a free plug-in called Ad Block for Safari. Install it, and you won't get any kind of pop-ups or ads, ever.
