I am not sure where i need to go to ask this question as i am new to the mac forum. I have an ibook G4, I am in desperate need of a way to run a windows application on my machine, can anyone held please????
The G3, G4 & G5 Macs are called PPC Macs, the only way you could run Windows Office apps on them was with Virtual PC software from Microsoft. I'm not sure if it's even still available now as it was pre Office for Mac.
In the last two years Macs have changed from PPC to Intel and Windows software can be run on them.
MacBooks & MacBook Pros are intel. iBooks and Power Books are PPC.
I'm sorry, running Windows apps on your iBook really isn't possible.
