Hello all.

iam new to the forum and i have a couple of questions. i will appreciate the answers for some mac experienced users.

iam having PC since Pentium1 was released and now iam making a 180' turn to mac. but i want to know.

i am thinking of buying a mac book pro (2.5GHz, 4GB ram, 250HDD) but iam not sure if it will be compatible with the work iam doing.

Mainly iam doing programming with visual studio C, C++ etc. and also use some sql stuff and a little of Photoshop. also i play World of Warcraft. my question is: does the mac worth it and it will be fully compatible with the above or i will have problems.

i really need some help cos PC is doing all the stuff too slow.

the next thing is the temperature of the mac book. most of the users are complained that reaches too high temps some times. is this true? i want to know more about that cos i am using the computer 1-2 day with out shutting down.

that all for the moment

thx for thr help anw

Your Mac's Specs
MBP i7, Mac Mini & iPhone 3G.
I can not answer the question about programs but WoW runs natively on mac and I know it runs very well.

As for the temperature they all run hot but there are very few problems as they rarely crash because they run really well even at high temperatures. I switch off my MBP every 2 weeks or so. The power is there, and if the programs don't run on OS X then run them in Windows via bootcamp.
