I'm loving it but..

I have it a whole 2 days now (MBP) and love it.

My clunky Windows apps are running under Parallels and I'm hooked on the whole Mac thing.

BUT, I can't stand having to Alt+3 to type a hash.

I use hash a lot in GMail and on my Windows keyboards it where the ' is on my MBP.

Is there a way to re-map keys?

I'd happily give up my `(just above ctrl) for the #.

Is there a workaround for this?

system preferences>keyboard/mouse>keyboard>modifier keys. I think assigning a short cut is about the best you can do.
