What can I do? set up iTunes where cant delete anything

When I go to a party or something, I let friends play with my music library but I am afraid they may accidently delete something. Is there a way where I can temporary lock to where no one can delete anything without a password?

If you're going to allow other people to play around with your Mac at a party - you'd better have some form of back up.

Better yet, get an iPod and connect it to the sound system. Wouldn't let any party goers touch my high dollar electronics. You are asking for trouble and the potential to lose friends over silly accidents by people not in full control of themselves.

seriously. i hardly let my sober friends touch my computer.
