Best way to move OSX installation

Mac Pro 14gb ram 24" LED Cd & 23" Cd
From one HD to another. When I got my Mac Pro osx was installed on the 750 drive. I want to install it on one of the 250's and keep the 320gb for scratch disk.

What is the best way to do this? Erase and install? I don't mind installing cs3 suite and a few things over again. All my other files are on other hd's.

+1 for SuperDuper. Every time I do a fresh install I create a SuperDuper backup first.

I did that earlier this year using SuperDuper.

I ran into one snag, which may have been Tiger related: When I rebooted, the system would randomly boot between the old and the new boot drive. It took me a while to realize what happened as some programs would start from one drive and other programs from the other drive. I had a real mess on my hands until I reconciled everything between the two drives and reformatted the old drive.

Not sure if this would still happen with Leopard. It seems a little better about booting; Tiger would randomly boot into BootCamp as well.
