I have noticed in the past few months that my macbook takes forever not only to connect to a wireless network but takes an increasingly longer amount of time to even find the network. I have my old iBook still and I tried it the other day and the second I opened it I noticed it connected within seconds.

Anyone have a remedy for this?

Well the problem could be hardware, or software. If software, it could be a User issue or a System issue.

First thing to try is creating a new user, log into that user, and see if the problem persists. Let us know if it does or doesn't, and we can go from there.
