Hi Guys,

MAC Newbie here. I used ACDSee for my image management for various things like batch resizing, sending to Photoshop for edits, batch renaming etc.

Tried exploring iPhoto but no success yet.

I have to manage a lot of images since i am into photography and web designs.

What package do u recommend ?

Thanx for your help..

I use the built in Automator to batch resize images. Just right click on an image, hover over More --> Automator and select Create Workflow. On the left side click on Photos, then in the next column double click on Scale Images. It'll ask if you want to retain the originals, I just click no since I'm never working with originals anyway. Select how you want to scale the images (pixels or percentage). Then drag all the pictures you want resized to the area where the first picture you selected is located. Then hit the Run button at the top right and it'll do its thing.
