Can I change the color of the icon on my desktop? I am not a huge fan of purple

A program like CandyBar lets you change the look of icons on your computer.

For changing the looks of single icons, no app is necessary.
Although, you can't just change it's color.

You can search for Mac icons and find quite a few places out there with many icons.

Once you have an icon you would like to change it to:
Do a Get Info on both items - your iDisk and the new icon.
In the Get Info window of the new icon - highlight the icon - then go to Edit - Copy
Then in the Get Info window of your iDisk - highlight it's icon - and Edit - Paste
