You might want to download Transmission 1.34 instead of 1.40 because there is some minor issues with torrents not downloading and saying "HTTP Status Code 0" (Link about the problem).

This problem seems to be isolated to version 1.40 so if you download 1.34 you should be good. Hopefully the "HTTP Status Code 0" error will be fixed in the next update (1.41).

Here is were you can get Transmission 1.34 . Make sure you download the .dmg file not the tar.bz2 file.

+1 on transmission. I've had great luck with Transmission. It doesn't come with a lot of bloatware and it's pretty simple to use.

I use Transmission too. I think Azeureus has one too but they changed name to something else I forgot. Tranmission is so simple and such a small program. Used to use Bitcomet for XP and that was crazier than this.

I can agree with that. However, if you're looking for a multi-purpose client Limewire is the way to go :)

I use Tomato, very simple and no problems yet.

Cheers :)

Transmission seems to work rather well for me. I belive they are still devloping a mac version of utorrent which should be pretty neat.
