Finally switching and important question...

I hope it is ok to post this right here since I could'nt find my problem described anywhere else.

I am a macuser since March and now I could talk my brother into a new Macbook too. The reason is that his old computer is totally broken though, including the harddrive.

Is there any way to get a second download of all his purchased music at the Itunes store? That would be terrific since those songs were not cheap and everything is gone now.

Please help...

Apple's official policy is that you purchase the right to download songs a single time. However, rumor has it that if you call/email them, you can sometimes get an exemption and redownload them for free.

Yep. Too many a time has most of my library vanished...
