Salvaging a PC for my new MAC?

Ok I have a Mac coming in the mail.

I am an editor and I have been running AVID Xpress Pro on my PC. Now I am going back to FCP.

I will have a G4 (audio editing version) coming in the mail and I wanted to know what I can salvage from my PC. So here's somethings I'd like to convert and add to my new Mac:

-Asus Brand DVD R-/R+/RW Burner
-USB 2.0 Card (PCI)
-Western Digital external USB 2.0 120 GiG Drive
-ATI Radeon 7200 64mb Video Card (AGP)
-Logitech mouse and keyboard (wireless USB)
-Two 40 GiG Maxtor IDE drives

Really I have a couple questions:

1. Will all these things I have listed convert?
2. Will I be able to use my external drive with FCP?
3. Is there a way to convert AVID OMF/AIFF files to FCP Files?
4. Will my previous IDE drives work in the new comp?

If you need more info post, and I will supply it.

Thanks all!!!

You won't be able to use the DVD burner unless it's external, the USB hard drive should be ok, same goes for the keyboard and mouse.

By the way, are we talking about the Powermac G4 here or the iMac G4?

Burner and Video card will not work (unless the burner is external and supports OS X

Hard drives are fine just need to be reformatted for Mac

You can use the external drive with FCP and it supports AIFF I believe

Here's a simple rule of thumb, if you can find or write a driver for it you can use it. Go to each of the manufacturers sites and look for driver downloads. As for hardware connections many drives and cards can be used through a usb or firewire connection using a basic external case kit available at most computer stores. Good luck!

What Mac is this? The G4 Digital Audio tower? The DVDRW drive should work as if the burning part does not work you get a program called Patchburn. It supports most DVDRW drives under OSX. The only other thing I am not sure about is the PCI Card. That depends like was already said on drivers. There is some support in OSX for a lot of USB cards but don't know the brand of your card so can not check.
