Hi everyone!

Just wanted to let you all know that some minor forum moves, changes, and combinations will be happening tonight starting at around 10:00 PM EST.

The boards will stay open during that time, but you may notice disorientation while things are being moved :dive:

After the update is complete I'll post back here with details of the change.

Thank you for your understanding! :p

Ok everyone, the changes have been completed early and here's a rundown of what's new:

- Video/Audio and Screenshots have been combined into a Video, Audio, and Images forum
- The Mac mini has a home now with the iMac forum
- the eMac and Xserve have been moved to Other Hardware because of their low post volume
- OS X Applications and Games have been combined into one forum
- OS X Darwin and Development have been combined into one forum
- OS 9 has been merged into Other Software.

Hopefully these changes will help make things a little more streamlined. We're still planning on a larger overhaul in the future so keep your eyes opened!

It appears in the process of changing some things, we've lost the posts from the OS X - Applications and Games forum. We're in the process of getting that data restored and ask for your patience as that happens.

Thanks for your understanding.

The images, video, and audio thing happened yesterday. Aren't I cool that I noticed that? Blue ribbon for me!!

Shouldn't iMac and Mac Mini be seperate, or shouldn't eMac, iMac, and Mac Mini all be grouped together. As well as the powerbook and iBook.

iMac and Mac mini were put together because they both target the consumer market. eMac was moved because it's very, very low traffic, and honestly with the release of the Mac mini, I don't see it surviving as a product much longer (but that's just my guess).

But as rman said, these were just temporary changes to streamline things a bit until the major overhaul coming to a forum near you ;)
