I'm trying to install OS9 on my Macbook, and one key step in the process is to have a Mac ROM. I have this ROM on hand, but the essential file that I need from it is kept in a format accessible only by TomeViewer, which only works on Classic Mac. Could somebody in here who has a Mac running OS≤9 or Classic please help me out here?

I could be wrong, but I don't think you can install OS9 on a macbook. I think the last mac that could run os9 was the PowerMacG4MDD. But, I may be wrong, so can I get a second opinion? Anyone?

Of course! I've been planning on using SheepShaver from the start. I have 9.04 and the ROM, and the last step is to extract that ROM using TomeViewer. It's a catch-22 because you need to run OS9 to unarchive this format.
