Program for movies?

Whats the best program to watch movies? And that can play all the latest codecs and formats? I used to use media player 9 with CCCP codec pack, but not sure about mac. Thanks.

I'll second VLC. Also, Quicktime with the Perian codec package is pretty decent too.

Both are great. There is also a Windows Media Player for Mac available for free from Microsoft. Divix, Xvid, RealPlayer... all are available for Mac via free download. Have fun!

I am going with VLC also its simple and it plays everything

2011 MBP, i7, 16GB RAM, MBP 2.16Ghz Core Duo, 2GB ram, Dual 867Mhz MDD, 1.75GB ram, ATI 9800 Pro vid
Both are great. There is also a Windows Media Player for Mac available for free from Microsoft.
They decided to let Flip4Mac be the replacement. Also note that MS DRM content is a no go.
