LOL. Great ad! Totally wasn't expecting the end of that ad. Finally a good one from Microsoft.

It's a funny ad, but what about a gigantic hourglass flying from the Windows user's screen, or the frisbee like thing in Vista? I sure get those in Windows a lot more often than beachballs in OS X.

Sure, but just as Apple exaggerates about the problems with Windows in their ads, Microsoft is doing the same with Apple. What comes around goes around, I guess.

LOL, I gotta admit that is pretty funny. Not sure if it's clever or anything but very unexpected.

It's not a bad ad, but you'll only get the significance of the beachball if you're already familiar with OS X (i.e. already use a Mac).
The average windows user is probably left scratching their head.

Btw isn't the girl at the second desk also using a new iMac?

iBook G3 - You'll be missed.
I found it kind of amusing, but really... if anyone know what the ad means, it'll be users that are familiar to OS X, and, well... I don't see those people switching to Windows. They are on OS X for a reason. Regular everyday people are not going to understand the ad at all. I don't think it's going to help sell Vista.

Funny none the less.

So... are you saying people who use OS X are not regular everyday people? ;)

I don't think that ad was from Microsoft.

I think what Ghostshadow meant was that people who just want their computer work might not totally understand the ad as, say, a computer geek.

I smiled, but thats it.

I find it a tad funny, but most won't understand it and it is extremely random.

Not extremely random- haven't you ever encountered the spinning beach ball of death- also sometimes known as spinning marble of doom?

This is the reason why I suspect the ad to be from someone or some company besides Microsoft, and this someone or company happens to use Apple computers.

Or I could just be totally wrong cause Im too busy watching History Channel and their special on Vampires.
