Macbook not detecting wireless connections?

My macbook is no longer detecting ANY kind of wireless connection.
I tried re-installing OS X, that hardly helped the problem.
any suggestions?

933 Mhz Powermac Quicksilver,1.5GB RAM, OSX 10.5, Tangerine 300MHz Clamshell, OS 9.2
does your wireless connection work on any other computers if applicable? have you tried directly connecting the eithernet cable into the macbook and see if it will go online?
