Disk error when i boot using windows

macbook 2.4 Ghz intel core duo, intel gma x3100, 4 Gb RAM
well i recently installed windows using boot camp, but when i boot using the windows partition, it says disk error, and wont go farther. all the setup files copied correctly. so what is wrong?

What kind of version of Windows are you trying to install? You can only use a full install MS Boxed copy of XP SP2, Vista, or OEM system builder's full install of Windows XP SP2 or Vista. XP SP1, Upgrades, OEM branded, (Dell, Sony, HP, and so forth) and recovery versions will not work.
