Mac help in finder

When I open Mac help in finder it opens for a second then goes down to the dock, then closes itself down.

Can anybody help

I have repaired permissions but that did not help.

also I have noticed my power botton button does not light up, I am sure it used too.

other than that Loving my PB more every day.

Cheers for help for what is more than likley a stoopid noob question :)
btw sorry for the rather vauge thread title, best I could come up with.

com.apple.help.plist
com.apple.helpui.plist
com.apple.helpviewer.plist

The easiest way is to just use the search. But search for them one at a time of course.

Select Find under the File Menu
If you searh for…
Name contains com.apple.help
you will get a hit on all 3 (+ more, but don't delete the others)
