iTunes and iPod

is there anyway to get the album art for a song the way you would when you buy it from itunes, like if i download the song from limewire legally of course how can i go out about getting the album cover on my ipod

Yep, Amazon.com, Google Images, or Wikipedia.org. Just copy the pic and paste it into the artwork section of Get Info...

It might also be handy assigning album art to all mp3 files

For example:

1. Selecting all of the mp3 files in itunes
2. Choose 'get info'
3. Tick the "artwork" tick box
4. Double click on the white space
5. Browse and choose your album art picture
6. Click ok

i actually just figured out that you you can go to advanced and click on get album art work
