mobile me

When i click on my hard drive, under the devices section i have an icon that says "idisks" and when i click on it a window pops up asking me if i would like to set up mobile me for my free trial. how do i get rid of that? i dont have mobile me, i never bought it so how did that get on my mac.?

It comes pre-installed on all macs so that when you do get mobileme you don't need to download any more software and you can start using it straight away. There's two ways you can get rid of it, one if by opening a finder window and clicking finder on the menu bar and choosing preferences and click sidebar and then untick idisk. Or you can just drag the idisk icon out of the finder window and it will disappear with a poof.
