I'm moving into a household that has a pc connected to a cable modem.
I'm wondering if I can connect my Airport Base Station to the PC via ethernet and still configure it to run a wireless network that my PowerBook can connect to? Is this possible?

Thanks,

Samuel.

Yes it's possible. I've done it here in my home using a D-Link router sending wireless to one machine while the other was hooked via ethernet cable. Doesn't matter that your router is an Airport Extreme or that one machine is a PC and the other is a Mac.

Regards.

Yep, this is the exact configuration I have, and it works fine. I use AirPort Extreme as well.
