MS Messenger & iSight

Hi,
I,m now the proad owner of a shiny new MacBook :D (goodbye windows)

I have downloaded MS Messenger for Mac but cant webcam with the biult in iSight camera.
Does anybody know how to do it or is there a similar messenger program out there that will work with the webcam.

At this point in time Microsoft has not given Messenger for OSX Video but they plan to in the future from what I have read.

Right now there are 2 chat applications that will give you video chat on MSN.
One is aMSN and the other Mercury Messenger. I believe aMSN is the more liked of the two.

You could try Skype, it does chat and video talk. iSight built in cam works fine with it.

If you have your machine dual boot with xp the i sight can be used on the messenger there. It depends how bothered u are to use it. Also we dont want u getting back into old habits and just always booting up the windows partition to go on msn do we!!

I just bought my mac today and downloaded aMSN on recommendation in this thread. Great messenger. Cheers for the recommendation to the threadstarter.

aMSN is the best for messaging and file sharing IMO but eventho it supports video it doesn't support audio which kinda defeats a video conferences purpose.

For video calls use skype.
