Audio from Video

Hello, everyone. I have a question for you all. If I have a video in iTunes, and there is a scene or piece of music in there i want without having to go to the video every time, how do I go about it. What I mean is, how can I choose certain clips of video, and have just audio. (As a different file). If you know what I mean, please answer. If you don't I can explain further if you tell me what you don't understand.
