I'm goin' nuts over here. Put in a new operating system 10.4.11 and ever since, the computer cannot find the printer. Hard wired, no fancy networks here. Just me using one computer and one printer that worked well together for a year before I installed the new operating system.
I've tried everything twice. Have dumped the software and reloaded it four times, restarted, tossed out my system preferences, shut everything down completely and tried again. I get to the printer selection window, where a list of printers is supposed to appear and. . . nothing. Tried manual entry of printer but that remains unworkable.
Would greatly appreciate any advice.
