I made a video in imovie, i placed the video marker to where i want to save the image (box in the top right). Is there any hotkey or way to take a screenshot of the video?

CTRL-Command-4 then press the Space bar or left-click to drag a box around what you want captured. The image will show up on your desktop.

Command+Shift+4. This allows you to select the area you want to take a shot off.

Command+Shift+3 takes a shot of the whole screen. The images by default save to the desktop.
