how do i get itunes to countdown again for song time?

My itunes used to say how much time was left in a song. When i updated to itunes 8 it stopped doing this. how do i change it back?

See att. The little arrow head just above and to the left of the 0:58. If you click that arrow, the display changes to level meters. Click it again and it should go back to time display.

If you click the number to the right of the progress bar, it should change to either total track time or time remaining (I'm using iTunes 7).

on my itunes 8 it says to the left of the time line how long the song has been playing and on the right side, what is left.

On the left hand side to the sliding bar thing is the time elapsed on the song. On the right hand side is either the total length of the song or the time left on the song. To alternate between them, just click on the time on the right hand side of the bar.
