Pretty much. That usually refers to reverse engineering any copy protection, and usually indicates a bootleg copy

There is no "safe" place. But you can try posting on photography forums looking for someone with a copy they no longer use. Or check ebay.

I think your getting mixed up here. The unveiling of CS4 is later this month but this isnt the actual release of CS4. More info here.
