RAM recognition?

933 Mhz Powermac Quicksilver,1.5GB RAM, OSX 10.5, Tangerine 300MHz Clamshell, OS 9.2
I'll put it in here too. I have a 1GB pc2700 RAM chip I got for my 1.42 GHz iBook. When I had leopard on it, it recognized having 1.5GHz of RAM but now that I'm on tiger it only recognizes 1GB...WHY?

Is there any other RAM stick in the computer or just the one ?

I think I fixed it?
*Shrugs*
I took the stick out and put it back in and it works fine now. Where in the heck is the airport card for this thing? lol Is it deep within the bowels of this laptop? I'm used to seeing it underneath the RAM but its not there...

That I dunno.....I'm not the best Mac guy out there but I'm sure someone on here would know.....I would atleast hope so....lol

Weird...It's doing it again...Maybe I got a defective RAM stick.
