I have been looking at getting my first Mac, been looking on eBay.

Seen an iMac G5 for £300, is this any good? Or are they completely out of date now?

Your Mac's Specs
Al iMac 20" 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
No, they're very good machines. 1Gb+ of RAM is recommended though.

Some software will only available for Intel machine, not the G5, as time goes on though. You won't run into any problems for 3 or 4 years probably, but just something to bear in mind.

The one I have looked at is 2.0Mhz Processor and 2GB RAM.
