I am looking for a little guidance for a new Mac user, as I am one myself I can't seem to find the answer for her.

When you are typing and need to edit a word that is in front of the cursor, is there any way that you can edit forward or do you have to place the cursor at the end of the word and work backwards......

Thanks so much in advance for your help. Hope this makes sense......
Cheers

If you are using a MacBook/Pro, then press the Fn key (bottom left) and then press the delete key. The Fn key is your alternator key between many of the keyboard functions.

If you're on a full mac keyboard, there should be two delete keys, with a direction indicator on one. This was/is one of my biggest gripes after my switch.. give a fella a backspace key already ;)

I hate the lack of a backspace key but I'm starting to get use to it now.
