Setting up new broadband connections on OS-X

How do I get my cable connection from home (Roadrunner) to work on my G4 Powerbook?

When I set up the computer, I was plugged in to the network at college and it set it up automatically

But when I plug in from home, I get activity, I just can't use the internet at all.

Any ideas on how to make it work?
TIA!

you could set it up manually, or delete the preferences for the nework settings and let it auto setup again.

mac hd>users>your username>library>preferences>com.apple.internetconfig.plist(delete this), repair permissions, restart, that should reset all your internet related settings as far as connection types and network setups.
