Does anyone on here have a definitive source for information on the Restore disc numbers on Mac dvds?

I have some grey discs No: 2Z691-6046a which I think are for a core2 duo mini.
I am bidding on some discs No: 2Z691-5738-A which I hope are the right ones for my Core duo 166 mini.

TIA

I do hope I will be forgiven if I have posted in the wrong forumO:)

I agree. It's not worth the risk one bit. When it comes to that it's always safer to do what Apple says even if you think you know what you're doing.

Things are much safer that way.

According to a thread on Apple Discussions you should be OK, as the disc you have bid for is for the following system:-

Mac Mini 1.66 GHz Intel Core Duo/1GB/80GB/SD/GMA950/AP/BT
