I am new to Mac and plan to purchase during September. I have a questions at this time.

In the iMac 24 3.06 dose the standard memory of 2gb fill just on slot or 2 slots? I plan to upgrade to 4gb and want to know what to purchase

It's 2 slots (2x1Gb). Dont upgrade through apple though (if you're buying your mac from them), they are very expensive when it comes to this. Buy your ram from a site like Crucial and install it yourself. go on to the crucial website when you have your mac and it will tell you what ram you need to buy. its much cheaper and then you also have the 2Gb that came with your mac left over at the end.
