I know theres already a topic on this somewhere but I just feel the need for reassurance. When i put a disk into my macbook (Pushing it in) It makes a noise like its slowly eating itself... Am i doing this right?

How loud and long of a noise?? When I put a CD in my Superdrive I get a little... "ziiiiittttt". Same thing when I eject it... but this doesn't sound strange to me...

Ahh... Nevermind! I found some clips on apple that gave me the noise it should make... its perfectly normal- if scary. It kind of like... cracks...
