I downloaded Firefox on my iMac 10.5.2. I am left with a virtual Firefox CD on my desktop. When I click on it I get the visual dialog to drag Firefox to application. I already did so. How can I get rid of the virtual CD?

Thanks from a budding iMac guru.....

RIght click on it and select "unmount." Should disappear, if not drag it to the trash can and you should be all set.

When you downloaded Firefox, you saw a download page with these instructions:
1. Your file should begin downloading automatically in a few seconds.

2. Click Continue when you’re asked if you want to continue downloading. Then be sure to accept the terms in the license agreement.

3. When prompted, drag the Firefox icon into the image of your Applications folder.

4. Drag the Firefox icon from the Applications folder into the dock. Then, just click on Firefox whenever you want to use the web!

You skipped Step 4 (and possibly step 3 as well.) Do that, and you'll be okay.
