hola people
i just burnt a data dvd+r on my somewhat-brand new macbook
it burnt and verified the dvd without any errors
but when i put the dvd back in the drive to double check if the files work...nothing! it doesnt pick up the dvd in the finder, nor does it show up that pop-up box asking me what to do
2 key things to note here:
1) the dvd is definitely working fine since it works on my brothers windows laptop (i can open and run files without fail)
2) the laptop is definitely reading the dvd since it shows up in the Disk Utility with the label i created for the DVD ("University docs + backup")

you se my problem here? i'm a mac-noob so please help me out in layman terms
thanks in advance

edit: other dvd's/cd's are being picked up with no problems (dvd movies, music cd's, black dvd's...)
