Flags on the Menu bar

I'm still getting comfortable with my Mac. In a lot of desktop pics that I have seen, different users have a flag displayed on their menu bar at the top of their screen. How do I get that? Thanks

Control Panel > International > Check the box at the bottom left of the Window.

You can change the flag depending on your region. If you want a different flag, Change your region!

control panel, isn't that in Windows? I don't see it.

Ya, I sometimes forget that it's not called Control Panel anymore.....
