Factory reset without disk, on iMac

Please help cant you turn it off and then push some buttons while it's re-starting?

Also, how do I change the name of the computer ?

Thanks this site has helped me alot in my switch from PC.

What do you mean by factory reset? If you want it just as it came out of the box, buy the disks

Yup, gonna need some disks here. You should have them anyway.

I bought it from a friend and there are no disk. I guess I have to go buy the disk. Thanks for the help. Coming from a PC I thought there might be a factory reset that could happen without the disk.

If she/he is really a friend ask for the system disks which came with the computer and which should be passed on with it.
