how to boot from a cd???

I have an iBook running 10.3.7. I have a copy of tech tool pro 4 and I wanted to create an edrive in case of an emergency and so I can run the optimizer.

but to create an edrive i need to boot from the cdrom first and I have no idea how to do that on a mac.
